AI vision sortingDual-station veneer stacker
A digital factory starts at the end of your peeling line
Tengsen's AI vision sorting dual-station veneer stacker grades each sheet using an in-house AI vision system. It automatically separates higher-grade veneer, lower-grade veneer and waste, maintaining consistent grades so quality sheets can command better prices.

Automatic sorting outlets
Simultaneous stacking
Maximum veneer feed speed
Compatible with both formats
When grading relies on the human eye,
losses hide in every truckload
End-of-line sorters are hard to recruit and retain. Grading depends on individual experience and how focused they are that day. Good sheets mixed into lower-grade stacks sell for less; when lower-grade sheets get mixed into good stacks, delivery disputes force you to downgrade the load and accept a lower payment. Deductions of a few hundred yuan per truckload add up to a substantial sum over a year.
AI inspection, intelligent sorting and automatic stacking in one
01 AI inspection
Every sheet is checked for dimensions and defects, including splits, dead knots, sound knots, resin marks, stringy grain and edge notches.
02 Intelligent sorting
Sheets are assigned to 8 grades according to your surface criteria. Waste is removed automatically, and higher- and lower-grade sheets go to separate outlets.
03 Automatic stacking
Two stations stack and count sheets simultaneously. Full stacks leave on tracks, removing the need for manual sorting, carrying and stacking at the end of the line.
All surface grading criteria are yours to set and adjust
Veneer leaving the peeling machine becomes neatly stacked, separated by grade.
Developed by Tengsen
AI vision grading system
Veneer grading for the Industry 4.0 era
Tengsen combines deep-learning vision technology with years of veneer grading expertise. Developed and trained in-house, the system is tailored to the grain, color variations and defects of rotary-peeled veneer. Inspection, grading and sorting run locally in real time, with fast responses and no network dependency.
1%measurement error thresholdFor example, on a 127×68 veneer sheet, the length error is only about 1.27cm and the width error about 0.68cm. Sheet area is 0.8636m², with an area error of no more than about 0.017m² (about 2%).
Six key problems solved by Tengsen's AI vision sorting dual-station veneer stacker
Get a better price for better veneer
Keeping good sheets out of lower-grade stacks makes delivery grades more consistent, so good sheets can sell for a better price.
Less manual work at the line end
The machine continuously handles inspection, grading and stacking, reducing the pressure of recruiting veneer sorters.
Easier management
Each sheet's image, dimensions and grade are saved automatically, providing traceable records for shop-floor management and air-drying reconciliation.

Adapt to changing orders
When a customer's surface acceptance criteria change, update the settings on screen. No mechanical changes are needed, so production can switch the same day.
Know your production costs
Output by grade, volume and yield are calculated automatically, showing how many tonnes of wood are used per cubic metre of veneer.
Buy with confidence — Tengsen, an 11-year brand
Return or replacement within 3 calendar months for faults not caused by the user; 6-month machine warranty, ongoing free technical guidance and lifetime free system upgrades

Built for continuous production
A heavy-duty welded thick-steel frame and industrial-grade vision and control components suit dusty, humid veneer workshops and long periods of continuous production. The machine's operating status is monitored in real time. The screen shows where an alarm has occurred, so workers know immediately where to go to resolve it. Paired with Tengsen's automated peeling control, sorting starts when the peeling machine starts, reducing operator errors.
Your digital factory dashboard,
with production data on your phone
The machine supports Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity. Even away from the workshop, you can check:
- Whether the machine is online and producing
- Today's, this month's and cumulative output
- Output share by grade
- Sheet count, volume and yield
Visible output and clear costs give you a data basis for quoting orders, buying raw materials and scheduling production.
